Shannon Townsend is thrilled to join Starkey Elementary as your new Assistant Principal! I have a passion for fostering academic growth and promoting a positive school culture. I bring over a decade of experience in education as a former teacher and instructional math coach. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Math & Science Education as well as Educational Leadership. Outside of school, I enjoy watching football with my husband, reading books, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family!
I look forward to joining the staff, community, families, and students at Starkey. I’m proud to be a Bear!
